D.A.P.

All mother animals release substances called "appeasing" pheromones while they are lactating (producing milk). The purpose of these is to reassure and calm the offspring. These reassuring properties remain effective for adult animals too. D.A.P. products contain a synthetic form of the natural canine appeasing pheromone and can help to stop or prevent fear related behaviour in puppies and adult dogs such as destruction, vocalisation, house soiling or excessive licking. D.A.P.products help to comfort puppies and adult dogs in situations they may find worrying or which make them apprehensive (visitors, strangers, vet visits, firework seasons, new or unpredictable situations). This is a particularly good product to consider if you are getting a new puppy as it can help your new puppy settle quickly into its new home.

The D.A.P Collar can help comfort puppies and adult dogs in situations that they may find worrying or which make them apprehensive. The collar stays on the dog at all times helping with events both inside and outside the home including: - Adjusting to a new environment - Socialisation period - Novel and unpredictable situations - Fear related reactions expressed outside the home (traffic, other dogs, thunderstorms, gunshots etc.) By combining the D.A.P. collar with a D.A.P. Diffuser inside the home may provide optimal results for dogs showing indoor and outdoor fears. Consult your veterinary surgeon before use. Directions for Use: Fasten the collar around your dog's neck and adjust to fit comfortably. Cut off any excess. The effects of one collar lasts for up to 4 weeks. Precautions: Remove the collar before bathing or shampooing your dog and replacde once your dog's coat is dry. Collar will not release phermone when wet. Do not use collar on dog's with extensive skin lesions.

D.A.P can help if your dog is nervous or frightened. This may be expressed as whining, whimpering, barking, panting, salivation, house soiling or destructiveness. D.A.P is particularly useful for new puppies and can help them to settle in their new home and reduces the stress of travelling. D.A.P. diffuser may be especially useful if your dog gets very anxious while you are away from home. D.A.P diffuser is easy to use- just plug it in like a normal diffuser and it wiil help to keep your dog settled and content. 1 diffuser lasts approximately 4 weeks and is active from 50 to 70 sq.m. Plug in D.A.P. in the room most used by the dog. The duration of use may be adapted according to the needs of your dog.

Use D.A.P. Spray for dogs when travelling in the car, adjusting to a new environment, visiting the vet or in any new or unfamiliar circumstances. D.A.P can help if your dog is nervous or frightened. This may be expressed as whining, whimpering, barking, panting, salivation, house soiling or destructiveness. D.A.P is particularly useful for new puppies and can help them to settle in their new home and reduces the stress of travelling. Directions; Spray 8-10 pumps of D.A.P. 15 minutes before you need it to be effective and before the dog is introduced to the environment (car, new home, kennel etc). Effects last approximately 1.5-2 hours. You can renew the application if necessary. Do not spray directly onto animal and always test furnishings before use. (Although it does not generally stain or mark).
